Scott Maro is the COO / Co-Founder of Maro & Associates, Incorporated. Scott leverages his 40+ years of experience with a true entrepreneurial spirit. His passion is in the areas of information management, product development, product data management, production, and manufacturing technology. Scott assists clients to quickly identify their business objectives and provide insight into technology solutions that meet their needs. Providing accurate assessments and affordable effective recommendations, he drives conversations that go beyond technology leveraging the corporate assets of people, process, and technology to discover the organizational changes that are necessary to successfully deliver measurable results. Since 1991, Scott focused his primary efforts on business management and development. He has successfully opened and managed the growth of isolated branch offices and independent value-added resale and service offices in the areas of mainstream CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM and Product Development. As a Certified Government Contractor, Certified WOSB, and maintaining ISO9001:2015 status, he continues to bridge the gap between Product Development and Manufacturing. Scott is a tenured Solution & Service Partner with SolidWorks and DriveWorks maintaining the highest standard of a select few integrators in the industry. He consistently demonstrates the ability to manage projects and business growth while maintaining corporate direction. He is consistently researching better, faster, and more efficient ways to increase productivity and decrease time to market not only for product development and
integrated data management, but also for those clients that look to Maro & Associates for design automation, manufacturing, product development, industry direction, and best practice implementation.
Shawn L. Maro
President/Co-Founder
Shawn Maro is the President / CEO / Co-Founder of Maro & Associates, Incorporated. Shawn leverages her 18+ years of business experience with a true entrepreneurial spirit in the areas of business management, financial management, and sourcing. Leveraging her keen sense of business to pave the way for the company, Shawn's experience in raising four beautiful children serves as the foundation for leading Maro & Associates on their journey. Shawn’s personality and demeanor are one of kindness and generosity. She is ready to participate in or provide direction at every opportunity and often summarizes conversations with ‘please, let me know what I can do and how I can help achieve the goals.’ Shawn fosters a fun wholesome environment and encourages a set of values that is consistent with her faith, enabling convenient work environments and home offices for all employees. Since 2001, Shawn has been focusing her primary efforts on business management and development. She successfully Co-Founded Maro & Associates which, originally focused on services in the areas of mainstream CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM and Product Development. With over 140+ years of experience on her staff, Shawn continues to diversify the corporate offerings. As a Certified Government Contractor, Certified WOSB, and maintaining ISO9001:2015 status, she continues to bridge the gap between Product Development and manufacturing through a skillfully developed manufacturing network. This diversification has its foundation in the certifications her team has earned through Solution & Service Partner relationships with SolidWorks and DriveWorks maintaining the highest standard of a select few. She sets the direction and consistently demonstrates the ability to manage business growth while maintaining corporate direction. Carl Buchanan
Designer
Carl is a designer, inventor, and new product developer with an aptitude for process improvement. With a unique understanding of intellectual property, he is responsible for many innovative design solutions resulting in US Patents. He has acquired a unique skill set based on his design engineering, customization, programming, design automation, and product data management expertise. Carl understands the productivity improvement pressures engineering teams face today. Technology best practices, standards, teamwork, and elimination of waste are all considered when Carl architects solutions. Directing PDM Pro, SolidWorks, and DriveWorks technical teams to date, Carl brings clarity and consistency to Scope reviews/approvals, resource capacity planning, training, scheduling, and customer relations. His ability to strategize, architect, plan, lead and deliver solutions involving software, licensing, archive/database server installation, configuration, testing, migration, and go-live/helpdesk support - at every phase of a project all serve to accent successful on-time delivery. Carl is no stranger to the diversity of the industry. Having supervised and designed the installation of process piping for food and dairy, natural gas, high-pressure steam, and industrial/commercial HVAC, he has extensive experience in 2D and 3D design, R&D, and project management as well as process controls including PLC, DCS, and PID systems. As a Visual Studio programmer, custom stand-alone solutions, add-ins, data migration, autopilots for DriveWorks, SolidWorks, PDM Pro, CADRA, AutoCAD, Brava Desktop Viewer, and SAP all provide a snapshot of his experience. Carl is passionate about providing efficient solutions aimed directly at the heart of customer needs. Implementations, Integrations, deployments, projects, or product development, Carl follows direction as well as provides the leadership necessary to meet or exceed customer expectations. Coaching, mentoring, leading, or diving into the details, customers are delighted to have Carl on the team.

Andrew (Andy) Pope is a self-motivated individual that continues to leverage state-of-the-art technology to integrate the many facets of the Product Development Pipeline. With 14+ years of experience in the areas of information management, product data management, design automation,
and custom software development, Andy’s unique ability to identify segmented information and capture intellectual knowledge while pushing the envelope of integration - eliminating the pain points of dual entry, manual process, segmented workflow, and system instability -provide the foundation for his approach to streamlined solutions.
Andy has a unique blend of experience that allows him to meticulously integrate multiple business systems providing bidirectional visibility to product data while maintaining strict data integrity and security. Andy is recognized as a leader in
architecting and developing cutting edge software solutions for ECAD/MCAD/PDM/PLM/ERP and Design Automation systems. Creating seamless integration strategies that capture the intellectual knowledge buried deep within processes,
Andy builds on his foundation to seamlessly and securely provide visibility to enterprise data at every level.
